Halfway: Improvements and Opportunities

After the checkered flag at the Milwaukee Mile, the 2013 IZOD IndyCar Series hit its halfway point. Eight races down, eight to go. Never enough for sure! The Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing team has made a lot of progress over the first half of this year... four top-10 finishes, a solid result at the Indianapolis 500, stronger qualifying efforts, and an overall better team confidence. There are definitely still plenty of areas where we're looking to improve such as consistency with qualifying, taking bolder yet smart opportunities on track, and recovering quickly from missteps.

So, what's next? We're all working hard toward the podium and getting back into the top-10 in championship points. And that started as soon as I stepped out of the car on Saturday. On to Iowa!
